not that i know of,and my wife is from there we have relatives there and she would know if this was true,unless they passed the law today i haven't heard anything about it,good luck.I hope this isnt true did they raise the age to get your license in nc?
I am an insurance agent in NC and my husband is a police officer. There has been no change in the age to get your drivers license in NC. You must be atleast 16 years old and have had your permit for 1 year before trying for your license if you are under 18. If you need further info, go to www.ncdot.com.
