Are there too many rules in Islam to ever hope to be a true Muslim?

Too many rules, too many false teachings, too much time to waste following it. You cannot shake hands with non-muslims (if you're a muslim woman) neither can you pray on your menstruation cycle. Very 7th centuary and unecessary.Are there too many rules in Islam to ever hope to be a true Muslim?
Yes and no. Yes if you look at all of them in one go and try and do everything in one go. The secret is to start little, get good at that and then move onto something else. After a while it'll come naturally and you'll get better and better.





No one will ever be perfect and no one will be able to follow all the rules all of the time. We all make mistakes, just don't let the mistakes bother you so much.

islam is a simple religion.thats why i love being muslim.i know you may see islam has a lot of rules,actually there are reason why you have to follow that rules,such as a muslim is forbid to drink alcohol. you already know that alcohol are bad to our health.see,its so simpkle if you understand why islam forbid that thing.
There aren't too many rules. It's just that some people are too weak to stick to them. All the things that are forbidden in Islam are bad for us. For example, drinking alcohol leads to intoxication which may result in one committing many other evils (E.G. murder).





Islam is the truth.
it's all worth it. trust me the harder u work here the more u benefit. ur not doin anything for Allah. after u die it's u who will benefit by going to heaven and paradise and then u'll live forever and ever in peace and luxury. from my knowledge i'd do anything to go into heaven. even the lowest one.
No more than in Judaism, where Muhammad stole most of the Koran from. (Pig eating forbidden, circumcision compulsory, etc).


Try Christianity where love of God is the only requirement.
There are too many rules to be religious.
Thats why they get frustrated, give up and blow themselves up, next to a school bus.
